Thank you to all the parents and children who responded to the recent surveys. Your feedback plays an important role in developing the future strategy for the school. It also enables the governors to accurately identify areas that require additional focus to provide our children with the best possible environment to learn and grow.
As you can see, overall the responses were positive. This indicates that the school is generally meeting its ambition to support pupils to achieve their full potential through developing a love of learning.
However, the small percentage of disagreement that identify areas of concern for some parents and students is very important to the Governors and school staff and we would welcome the opportunity to gain a better understanding of the issues. We would be happy to schedule a meeting should any parent or student wish to share their specific concerns. This could be with a Governor or member of staff at the school and would enable us to put measures in place to address the concern.
It was our first time using Survey Monkey to deliver the survey and we discovered there was an issue with more than one child being able to complete the survey on a single device. We will address this issue on future surveys and also include areas that will enable written comments.
Despite the technical limitations, we feel it has been a worthwhile and informative data gathering exercise and thank you once again.
